Philippine Airlines will deploy its new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on its direct flights to Toronto starting May 24.

In a post on Instagram, the Philippine flag carrier will operate the A350-1000 on its thrice-weekly flights PR118/PR119 between Manila and Toronto (outbound every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday/return every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday).

The airline currently uses Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route.

Philippine Airlines' A350-1000 features a tri-class cabin with 382 seats – 42 private suites in Business, 24 Premium Economy, and 316 in Economy.

Since taking delivery of the first A350-1000 in late December, Philippine Airlines has deployed the widebody aircraft on flights from Manila to Cebu, Davao, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The airline currently uses the aircraft on its flights between Manila and New York JFK.

Philippine Airlines has nine A350-1000s on order, with an additional purchase rights for three more. Five more A350-1000s are expected to be delivered during the year 2026, followed by three more in 2027.
