Philippine Airlines will make its return to Beijing, China this March.
The Manila-based airline will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) between Manila and Beijing Capital Airport from March 30. Airbus A321 aircraft with up to 199 seats will be used on the route.
“We are honored to serve the capital city of the People’s Republic of China, the diplomatic heart of the world’s second-largest economy, as our contribution to strengthening air links to the Chinese mainland,” Captain Stanley K. Ng, President and Chief Commercial Officer, Philippine Airlines said in a statement. “We believe that the Manila-Beijing service will help boost tourism, enhance trade and deepen the friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people.”
Previously, Philippine Airlines suspended its flights to Beijing in October 2024 citing low demand.
With the addition of Beijing, Philippine Airlines will offer flights to four destinations in Mainland China. The airline currently operates flights to Shanghai (Pudong), Xiamen, and Quanzhou.
