Philippine Airlines will resume services to Sapporo, Japan with seasonal flights this winter.
Between November 24 and March 27, 2026, the Manila, Philippines-based carrier will operate three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) between Manila and Sapporo New Chitose Airport. Using Airbus A321neo aircraft with 168 seats (12 Business and 156 in Economy), Philippine Airlines plans to operate the flights during the winter season (November-March) each year in the future.
Operating as PR406, the outbound flight will depart Manila at 0630H and arrive at Sapporo at 1215H. The return flight – PR405 – will depart Sapporo back for Manila at 1315H and arrive at 1810H.
The seasonal service to Sapporo will mark the return of Philippine Airlines to the northern Japanese city. Philippine Airlines last operated flights to Sapporo in March 2020 – prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sapporo will once again be Philippine Airlines' sixth destination in Japan, where it currently operates flights from Manila to Tokyo (Haneda/Narita), Osaka (Kansai), Nagoya, and Fukuoka. The airline also operates flights from Cebu to Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai.
Philippine-based budget carrier Cebu Pacific is the other airline operating flights between Manila and Sapporo with three weekly flights.
