Qatar Airways to increase flights to Saudi Arabia, launch new route to Hail

Qatar Airways will expand its services to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a new route to Hail, and additional flights to Jeddah and Riyadh.


Announced during the TOURISE Summit 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer stated the Doha, Qatar-based airline will launch a new route to Hail – the 13thto the Kingdom – from January 5, 2026.


In addition to the new route to Hail, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to both Jeddah and Riyadh from six to seven-times daily.


“At Qatar Airways, we are proud to see our presence continually grow in both scale and significance across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said Al-Meer. “Our network now spans every major region of the Kingdom, and over the past 12 months, we have connected nearly 2.5 million passengers in the Kingdom to our global network. This a reflection of the level of trust travellers in Saudi Arabia place in our airline and the excellence of our services across the Saudi market.”


Upon the launch of the route to Hail, Qatar Airways will offer more than 150 weekly flights to 13 destinations in the Kingdom from Doha.
