Singapore Airlines' budget subsidiary Scoot announced it will launch new routes to Chiang Rai and Okinawa, and expand its services to Tokyo with the addition of flights to Tokyo Haneda Airport. The new routes will be launched towards the end of the year and into 2026.

The first of Scoot's newly announced routes that will be launched will be to Okinawa, Japan on December 15. Scoot will operate three weekly flights from Singapore to the southern Japanese island using Airbus A320 aircraft.
To start next year (2026), Scoot will launch its five-times weekly service from Singapore to the northern Thai city of Chiang Rai on January 1. The airline will use its Embraer 190-E2 aircraft on the route.
The last of the three routes that will be launched will be to Tokyo Haneda on March 1, 2026 using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
With the launch of the three new routes, Scoot will operate 111 weekly flights to Thailand and 45 weekly to Japan. Including Singapore, the overall network will grow to 76 destinations across 18 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe
Other Network Updates
In addition to its latest additions to its network, Scoot also announced service increases across its network during the upcoming holiday period.
Within Southeast Asia, Scoot will increase its flights to Bangkok from 35 to 39 weekly from August. Other cities that will see service increases include Ipoh (17 to 21 weekly from November), and Chiang Mai (7 to 14 weekly by December).
To North Asia, Scoot will increase its services to Tokyo Narita via Taipei from 12 to 14-times weekly from October and to Sapporo via Taipei from four to seven-times weekly in December. As a result, services between Singapore and Taipei will gradually increase from 23 to 25-times weekly from October 2025, then to 28-times weekly from December 2025.
Services to Jeju will be increased from 5 to 7-times weekly, and to Vienna from 3 to 4-times weekly from March 2026.
