Singapore Airlines is returning to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - the airline's second route to the Middle East.
From June 2, Singapore Airlines will operate four weekly flights between Singapore and Riyadh. Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 303 seats in a two-class configuration (40 Business and 263 Economy).
In a statement, Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Commercial Officer, Singapore Airlines said: “Our return to Riyadh comes amid its thriving business environment and ambitious development, which make it one of the Middle East’s most dynamic cities. Beyond a new destination, this service will potentially allow us to work with our partners to offer our customers additional travel options across the region.”
Riyadh is Singapore Airlines' second destination in the Middle East, and the third in the region for the SIA Group (including budget subsidiary Scoot). Singapore Airlines currently operates daily flights to Dubai, and Scoot operate four weekly flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
