South Korean budget airline T'Way Air will expand its services in Singapore with the addition of a new route between the island of Jeju and the city.
South Korean budget airline T'Way Air will expand its services in Singapore with the addition of a new route between the island of Jeju and the city.
Adding to its current services between Seoul (Incheon) and Singapore, T'Way will launch its new flights between the popular South Korean resort destination of Jeju and Singapore starting August 15. Operating daily, Tway will use Boeing 737 MAX 8 (737-8) aircraft on its new route. Services will then be further increased to daily from September 3.
With the introduction of its Jeju-Singapore service, T'Way will compete with Singapore Airlines Group's (SIA) budget subsidiary Scoot on the route. Covering a distance of around 4260 kilometers, the route is slightly shorter to Seoul-Singapore (~4600km).
In addition to the new Jeju-Singapore service, T'Way is also expand its services between Seoul and Singapore with a flight frequency increase from once-daily to twice-daily between July 23 and October 25.
