Thai AirAsia will reintroduce its direct route between Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi and Hat Yai.


From July 1, the Thailand-based AirAsia carrier will operate a daily service from Suvarnabhumi to Hat Yai in southern Thailand.


The new flights will add to the airline's current flights to Hat Yai from Don Mueang Airport. Combined, AirAsia operates eight daily flights between both of Bangkok's hubs and Hat Yai.


In a statement,Tansita Akraritpirom, Head of Commercial, Thai AirAsia, cited the strong demand for the flights between Bangkok and Hat Yai – a popular year-round destination. Since 2023, Thai AirAsia reports an average load factor of 95% on its flights between Don Mueang and Hat Yai. 


We thank both the people of Songkla’s Hat Yai and its vicinity as well as the many travelers who have supported AirAsia’s route to Hat Yai. All of you led us to resume Suvarnabhumi – Hat Yai once again, and we are very glad to be able to offer you all the convenience of choosing to fly out of Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi airports, ” Tansita said.
