T'way Air will launch its first route to North America this summer with the addition of a new service to Vancouver, Canada.
The South Korea-based budget airline will launch its new Seoul Incheon-Vancouver route with four weekly flights (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) starting July 12.
T'way will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 347 seats on the route featuring 12 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.
Between Incheon and Vancover, T'way will join Air Canada and Korean Air on the route. T'way will become the third South Korea-based airline to operate flights from the country to North America – the other two being the recently merged Asiana Airlines and Korean Air.
Vancouver will add to T'way's long-haul network. The airline currently operates flights to four European cities including Frankfurt, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Rome, and Barcelona, and Sydney in Australia. T'way uses Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft on its long-haul routes.
