Vietjet has announced an order with Airbus for 20 more A330neos to support the Vietnam-based budget airline's future international expansion plans.
The new agreement between Vietjet and Airbus – signed by both companies in Hanoi – will comprise of 20 A330-900, doubling its order for the widebody jets. Vietjet first announced its initial order for the A330neos in 2024.
With the order, Vietjet will have over 130 aircraft on order from Airbus – including 96 A320neo Family aircraft.

Vietjet remains dedicated to delivering greater connectivity and sustainable air travel for millions of passengers in Vietnam and around the world.”

Vietjet currently operates a fleet of 115 A320 Family aircraft and seven A330-300s. Using the widebody A330s, Vietjet operates flights to Australia, India, and Kazakhstan. The airline plans further expansion with long-haul flights to Europe.
