Ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday period, Vietjet announced it will launch four new routes to two cities in Mainland China – Beijing and Guangzhou – starting March 30.
To Beijing, Vietjet will operate daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Beijing Daxing Airport. The airline will also launch a thrice weekly service between Hanoi and Daxing Airport (outbound – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday/return – Sunday, Wednesday, Friday).
Vietjet will operate daily flights each from both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Guangzhou.
Combined, Vietjet will operate 24 weekly return flights on the four newly announced routes between the China and Vietnam.
New Routes to India
From March 18, the Vietnam-based budget airline will launch twice-weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday) between Ho Chi Minh City and Hyderabad. The following day (March 19), the airline will then launch another route to India – from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangalore with three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
The two new routes will add to Vietjet's services between Vietnam and India, where it offers flights on 10 routes connecting three cities in Vietnam – Hanoi, Chi Minh City, and Da Nang – to six cities in India – Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kochi.
