Virgin Atlantic to launch flights to Phuket in 2026

Virgin Atlantic has announced it will launch a new route connecting London and the Thai resort destination of Phuket next year.

From October 18, 2026, Virgin Atlantic will operate thrice-weekly flights (outbound: Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday/return: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday) between London Heathrow and Phuket.

Using a tri-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the new route is aimed to capture the growing demand for luxury winter travel.

Virgin Atlantic will be the lone carrier operating flights on the route from Heathrow.
