Fuji Dream Airlines to add 2 more Embraer E175s to fleet

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announced an order by Japanese regional airline Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) for an additional two (2) E175 aircraft.

According to Embraer, the 2 firm orders are already reflected on the company’s backlog. The FDA E175s will be configured in a single-class 84-seat layout, and delivereies are scheduled to take place in 2027 and 2028.

With the additional 2 E175s, FDA will have a total of 15 of the aircraft including the 13 currently in operation.

FDA President Shunsuke Honda, said: “The introduction of these new aircraft will enhance our capacity and help further strengthen our network connecting communities across Japan. We are also very pleased that this order represents an opportunity to further develop our long-standing partnership with Embraer.”

Established in 2008, Shizuoka, Japan-based FDA operates a network of 29 routes serving 17 airports in Japan. The airline operates a fleet of 15 all-Embraer aircraft, including 2 E170s and 13 E175s.
