Hainan Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-900 (A330neo) – the first A330neo to be operated by a Mainland Chinese airline.
The new A330neo – with the registration B-32MU – completed its delivery flight from Airbus' facility at Toulouse, France before arriving at Haikou Meilan International Airport on the Chinese island of Hainan on November 1. Featuring 301 seats in a two-class configuration, the aircraft has 24 Business and 277 Economy.
Within its +200 aircraft fleet, Hainan Airlines currently operates 27 A330s which includes 22 A330-300s and 5 A330-200s.
