Hainan Airlines will resume flights to Seattle and direct flights between Shanghai and Brussels, Belgium.


From April 2, Hainan Airlines will operate flights between Beijing-Capital to Seattle after a pause of nearly four years. Using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the Haikou-based carrier will operate three weekly flights on the route before being reduced to twice weekly the following month (May 3).


According to aeroroutes, Hainan Airlines also intends to launch a second route to Seattle from Chongqing.


Prior to the pandemic, Hainan Airlines reported it served approximately 200,000 passengers to Seattle.  


Shanghai-Brussels


From June 18, Hainan Airlines will resume direct flights between Shanghai-Pudong and Brussels. The airline will operate four weekly flights on the route.


The Shanghai-Brussels route will Hainan Airlines' third route from China to Belgium. The airline currently operates flights to Brussels from Beijing and Shenzhen.
