IndiGo has announced it will launch daily direct flights between Chandigarh and Abu Dhabi from May 15.
In a statement, the airline stated the launch of this route will provide enhanced flight options, seamless connectivity, and ease of accessibility for businessmen and travelers commuting between India and the UAE.
Located in northern India, Chandigarh is the shared capital of the Indian states of Haryana and Punjab.
With the addition of Chandigarh, IndiGo will offer 63 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from 9 points in India – including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Ahead of the launch, IndiGo will launch another route to Abu Dhabi - from Kannur on the western Indian coast - on May 9.
