Korean Air has completed its overhaul project of its lounges at the Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 with the opening of the renovated flagship First and Prestige Class West Lounges.
The opening of the two lounges marks the completion of the 42-month project to renovate all the airline's lounges at Terminal 2, worth a total of around KRW 110 billion (~USD $75 million). With the newly opened lounges, Korean Air now has a total of seven lounges at Terminal 2 doubling the previous total area from 5,105sqm to 12,270sqm, and seat capacity from 898 to 1,566.
The newly opened First Class Lounge's area has been more than doubled to cover 921sqm with an open hall and 11 private suites. With an area of 2,615sqm, the Prestige Class West Lounge is now the largest lounge at Incheon International Airport.

Part of Korean Air's infrastructure expansion at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 ahead of the airline's integration with Asiana Airlines, the first phase of the lounge renewal project – which included the redesigned Miler Club, Prestige East (Right Lounge), and the two Prestige Garden lounges in the far end of the terminal – was completed in August 2025. Those lounges were followed by the Prestige East Lounge opening in January 2026.

Korean Air will continue its lounge renovation projects such as those at its main domestic hub in South Korea at Gimpo Airport near Seoul, and New York JFK Airport. The airline recently re-opened its largest overseas lounge at Los Angeles in March 2026.
