Air China announced it will operate the first international flight using the China-made COMAC C919 connecting Beijing and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia next month.
Air China announced it will operate the first international flight using the China-made COMAC C919 connecting Beijing and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia next month.
From August 12, Air China will use the C919 on one daily round-trip flight between Beijing Capital and Ulaanbaatar’s Chenggis Khaan International Airport. The outbound flight CA723 will depart Beijing Capital at 1500H and arrive at Ulaanbaatar at 1715H. The return flight CA724 will depart Ulaanbaatar at 1830H before arriving back at Beijing Capital at 2035H.
The C919 will replace the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft currently used on flights CA723/CA724. It will bring the China-made twin-engine narrowbody jet beyond the local domestic market and Hong Kong.
Beijing-based Air China currently operates up to three flights a day from its hub at Beijing Capital to Ulaanbaatar.
