EVA Air to launch Taipei-Delhi flights from December 1

EVA Air has announced it will launch a new route connecting Taipei and Delhi, India.

From December 1, the Taiwan-based carrier will operate five weekly flights (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday) between Taipei Taoyuan and Delhi. The outbound flight BR367 will depart at 1100H before arriving at Delhi at 1535H. The return flight BR368 will depart Delhi at 1955H before arriving back at Taipei at 0420H the following morning.

Airbus A330-300 aircraft will be used on the route, where EVA Air will be the lone Taiwan-based airline to offer non-stop regularly scheduled passenger flights to the capital city of India.

“The launch of nonstop Taipei－Delhi service represents an important milestone in EVA Air’s network development,” said EVA Air President Clay Sun. “Growing connections across the manufacturing, semiconductor, artificial intelligence, and technology industries continue to drive closer economic ties between Taiwan and India. Our new Delhi route not only provides a more efficient travel option for business and leisure passengers but also strengthens connectivity between India and North America through our Taipei hub.”

The new service by EVA Air will offer an alternative for travelers bound for North America via Taipei. It will also offer a convenient connecting option via Delhi from Indian domestic destinations with Star Alliance partner Air India.

Eligible Indian nations traveling to the US or Canada can also take advantage of Taiwan’s conditional visa-waiver transit program to enjoy a short stopover in Taipei.
