The two big South Korean carriers Korean Air and Asiana will raise the fuel surcharge for domestic routes during the month of September to KRW20,900 (~USD $14.65).
The two big South Korean carriers Korean Air and Asiana will raise the fuel surcharge for domestic routes during the month of September to KRW20,900 (~USD $14.65).
In separate notices, the two airlines stated the domestic flight surcharge will apply on tickets issued on or after September 1. The effective period is between September 1 through the 30th.
It will be an increase from the current domestic surcharge for the month of August at KRW16,500 (~USD $11.57).
Announced a month a head of its implementation, it will apply on one-way tickets whether paid or free of charge, including award tickets. Tickets for infants under the age of 2 who do not occupy a seat are exempt from the surcharge.
