Peach Aviation recently started operations with its newest Airbus A320neo aircraft featuring Airbus' latest cabin “Airspace.”
In a statement, Peach - a budget airline subsidiary of All Nippon Airways (ANA) - received the new A320neo with Airspace – registered JA217P – on March 23. Since then, Peach has deployed the aircraft on its first scheduled flight - MM105 – from Osaka Kansai to Sapporo New Chitose on April 1.
Onboard, the A320neo has a capacity for 188 passengers. The Airspace cabin introduces larger overhead Airspace XL Bins which provides 60% more overhead storage, and full LED cabin lighting.

“By redesigning the storage bins, we reduce the burden of stowing carry-on luggage and support smoother passenger flow onboard. This helps alleviate congestion during boarding and deplaning, maintains on-time performance, and provides passengers with a sense of psychological comfort and a pleasant cabin environment.”
Each ergonomically designed, pre-reclined seat was manufactured by RECARO. With added legroom, the seats were made with a new seat material called e-Leather that conforms to the body's contours. Passengers are provided with USB Type-A and Type-C power ports.

Since its first scheduled flight between Kansai and Sapporo, according to Flightradar24 the aircraft has since been used on flights between Tokyo Narita, Okinawa (Naha), and Amami.
