Qatar Airways will gradually increase its flights to Dubai with up to five flights daily from Doha by the end of the summer.

From two daily flights between Doha’s Hamad International Airport and Dubai, Qatar Airways added a third daily flight on the route on June 5. A fourth daily flight will be introduced from June 15 before the addition of a fifth.

The airline did not disclose the start date for the fifth daily flight, but all flights will use Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.

“This expansion reinforces Qatar Airways’ commitment to enhancing connectivity within the region and supporting both business and leisure travel between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates with up to 35 weekly flights.”

Following the start of the recent conflict in the Middle East, Qatar Airways has been steadily restoring its network across the region. The airline currently operates flights to over 20 destinations in the region. Flights were resumed to Dubai and Sharjah in April, followed by Abu Dhabi in May.

“Building on this momentum, Qatar Airways is continuing the phased restoration and expansion of its global network to over 160 destinations by this summer.”
