STARLUX to launch new Kaoshiung hub with flights to Kobe, Okinawa

STARLUX to launch flights from its newly announced hub at Kaoshiung, Taiwan to two destinations in Japan: Kobe and Okinawa upon the start of next year.


The two newly announced routes the southern city of Kaoshiung to Kobe and Naha (Okinawa) will both start on January 1, 2027. Daily flights each will be operated to the two cities using narrowbody Airbus A321neo aircraft.


On the Kaoshiung-Kobe route, JX360 will depart at 0825H and arrive at Kobe at 1215H. The return flight JX361 will depart Kobe at 1315H before arriving back at Kaoshiung at 1600H.


Kaoshiung will be STARLUX’s third route to Kobe Airport, adding to its services from Taipei Taoyuan and Taichung.


“The launch of the new route will further expand Kobe Airport’s air network, and it will also improve access to destinations in Japan and overseas,” said Kobe Airport’s operator Kansai Airports Group.


The outbound Kaoshiung-Naha flight JX362 will depart at 1715H and arrive at 2000H. The return flight JX363 will depart Naha at 2100H before arriving back at Kaoshiung at 2205H.


From Naha, STARLUX also operates flights to Taipei Taoyuan and Taichung from the southern Japanese resort destination.
