STARLUX expands partnership with American Airlines

STARLUX Airlines announced the expansion of its partnership with American Airlines which will now cover 20 destinations in North America through a codeshare partnership. 

Covering 20 destinations, STARLUX customers can make onward connections upon arriving at either Los Angeles or Phoenix on American-operated flights. Destinations covered in the agreement include New York-JFK, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Orlando, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Las Vegas, Washington DC-Reagan National, Austin, San Antonio, Kansas City, St. Louis, Albuquerque, El Paso, San Diego, and Tucson.

Customers can book single-ticket itineraries with flights operated by both airlines and enjoy through checked baggage. Reciprocal airline loyalty program benefits such as earning and redeeming points between both carriers will be launched soon.

The codeshare partnership builds upon the interline partnership between both STARLUX and American Airlines launched in August 2025. In addition to its partnership with American Airlines, STARLUX also has codeshare partnerships with Alaska Airlines and Etihad.

STARLUX currently operates flights to five destinations in the US, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ontario, Seattle, and Phoenix.
