The organizing group of the bi-annual Singapore Airshow will soon host its first ever show dedicated to Business Aviation.
First announced in October 2024, Experia Events (Experia) inaugural business aviation event – the Business Aviation Asia Forum & Expo (BAAFEx) 2025 – will take place at Singapore's Changi Exhibition Center – the same location where the Singapore Airshow is held – between March 4 and 6.
According to Experia, the new event comes as the Asia-Pacific has seen growth in business aviation. The region is the third-largest market for business jets at the end of 2023, home to around 1,200 business jets. Companies such as global business aviation group Vista – the parent company of VistaJet – saw a year-on-year increase of flights by 20% during the first three quarters of 2024. Southeast Asia has seen the number of business jets based in the region increase by 5% during the recent years.
“The response from the major aircraft manufacturers, aircraft management and aircraft
operators to BAAFEx 2025 has been very positive. The consensus is that Asia Pacific, being the third largest market for business jets, warrants having its own show dedicated to business aviation,” says Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director, Experia Events.
Similar to the Singapore Airshow, the event will feature exhibitors and aircraft displays. Among the reported aircraft that will be on static display include jets from Boeing Business Jets, VistaJet, and Amber Aviation. VistaJet will have its flagship Bombardier Global 7500 on display, while Amber Aviation will feature its Gulfstream G450.
