ANA announces flight schedule updates for 2H FY2026, domestic flight collaboration with JAL

For the second half of the current fiscal year (2H FY2026), All Nippon Airways (ANA) will expand its international flight operations by 4% compared to the same period last year. ANA will also coordinate flights for the first time with rival Japan Airlines (JAL) on one domestic route, while expecting to take delivery of the first aircraft with the latest cabin products such as THE Room FX.

In anticipation of the upcoming peak season for inbound travel demand to Japan, ANA will increase its flights on the Narita-Mumbai route (NH829/NH830) from thrice-weekly to daily from September 1.

To Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, ANA will add to its current daily flights (NH805/NH806) with an additional four-times weekly service (NH807/NH808) in operation between September 1 through October 23. It will then be increased further to daily from October 25.

A second daily flight on the Narita-Singapore route (NH803/NH804) will be added to the current daily flights (NH801/NH802) starting September 1.

ANA also stated it will increase its flights on the Haneda-Milan route (NH207/NH208) to daily during the 2H FY2026. Currently operating thrice-weekly, the date when the scheduled increase will take place will be announced later.

ANA’s budget subsidiary Peach Aviation (Peach) will also expand its international flights by 9% compared to 2H FY2026. Peach will launch its daily flights on the Narita-Seoul Incheon route on September 20, and flexibly adjust flight schedules on select routes such as from Kansai to Incheon, Hong Kong, Taipei, and the Narita-Taipei route.

Domestic Collaboration with JAL

At the same time, ANA plans to increase its domestic flight operations by 1%. Services will be increased on routes to Sapporo, Naha (Okinawa), Shonai, and Nagasaki.

ANA also stated it will start flight schedule coordination with rival JAL on the Haneda-Okayama route.

“Based on the outcomes of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "Expert Panel on Domestic Aviation," - a government panel convened to address the sustainability of Japan's domestic air network - and as a new initiative to maintain air networks under a challenging Japanese domestic business environment, ANA and JAL will coordinate schedules on the Haneda=Okayama route to provide customers with a convenient timetable across both airlines. This will further enhance air travel convenience, meet diverse customer needs, and improve overall profitability.”

Domestic flights operated by Peach will also increase by 10%.

Delivery of 737 MAX and 787-9s with new Cabin Products

ANA reported it expects to start taking deliveries of its new Boeing 737-8 (737 MAX 8) starting in October 2026, followed by the new 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft after November 1.

The 787-9 will feature the latest seats and cabin configurations featuring “THE Room FX” Business Class seats.
