Delta has announced it will offer Wi-Fi for SkyMiles Members on its trans-Pacific routes.

The Atlanta, US-based airline announced the availability of its Wi-Fi services on flights crossing the Pacific, which Delta stated it is “closing the last coverage gap and making the connected travel experience more available across Delta’s global network.”

Delta’s inflight Wi-Fi is powered by T-Mobile, and the airline stated it is the only US-based airline to offer free connectivity across its full international network. The airline reports that 1,300 aircraft, or 95% of its fleet, are Wi-Fi equipped. Full fleet connectivity is expected by early 2027.

“We know how important connectivity is for travelers who want to stay connected wherever they fly, whether you're traveling for business, reconnecting with family or setting out on a long-awaited trip,” said Ranjan Goswami, Chief Marketing and Product Officer, Delta . “Bringing free global Wi-Fi across our international network is an important milestone in making the Delta experience more consistent and connected, especially on some of our longest journeys."

“Completing Delta’s global Wi-Fi coverage is a major and meaningful milestone for our customers, especially as we grow to meet increased demand for travel across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Jeff Moomaw, Vice President – Asia Pacific, Delta. “Together with our partners, we’re making it easier for customers to stay connected as they travel across the Pacific and beyond.”

SkyMiles members can connect onto the Wi-Fi during their Delta flights, and enjoy a wide selection of entertainment options such as premium entertainment and sports coverage through Delta Sync.
