Delta Airlines will make its return to Manila with a new, non-stop flight from Los Angeles starting in the Spring 2027.

In a post on X, New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) reported Delta will introduce its Los Angeles-Manila route on March 28, 2027 with three weekly flights before an increase to daily on June 7, 2027. The outbound flight DL181 will depart Los Angeles at 2350H before arriving two days later at Manila at 0503H. The return flight DL180 will depart Manila at 0740H and arrive back at Los Angeles at 0605H.

Delta’s flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 275 seats featuring the airline’s Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main products.

Manila will become the latest addition to Delta’s hub at Los Angeles, where it currently operates trans-Pacific flights to Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Shanghai. It also strengthens the airline’s joint venture partnership with Korean Air, expanding customer options between North America and the Philippines.

“The addition of nonstop Los Angeles-Manila service marks another milestone in Delta’s long-term vision for Los Angeles, reinforcing the airline’s continued investment in LAX while expanding travel options across the Pacific.”

Delta’s customers currently connect to Manila and the central Philippine city of Cebu via Incheon with Korean Air.

The new route will be Delta’s return to the Philippines after 6 years. Previously served by Northwest Airlines, Delta operated flights to Manila from Tokyo Narita before shifting it to Incheon. It was then suspended in 2021.

Between Los Angeles and Manila, Philippine Airlines currently operates around 18 weekly flights on the route.

Delta is the second US-based airline to launch its own non-stop service between the Philippines and the US. United competes with Philippine Airlines on the San Francisco-Manila route with two daily flights.
