Malaysia Airlines is temporarily adjusting the availability of the manned check-in counters at KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT).
In a notice posted on the Malaysian flag carrier’s website on June 22, the airline announced the adjustment for the check-in counters at KL Sentral Station will take place between July 1 through December 31. Part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to enhance self-service capabilities and improve operational efficiency, one assisted check-in counter will be open daily between 0600H to 2000H to serve Business Class and eligible Priority passengers. Economy Class passenger support will continue when required.
Passengers who require full check-in assistance are advised to proceed to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA T1). Self-service check-in kiosks and self-bag drop facilities are also available at KL CAT.
“Malaysia Airlines remains committed to providing a seamless and efficient travel experience and appreciates passengers’ understanding and continued support during this temporary adjustment.”
The KL CAT allows passengers to check-in for their flight at KL Sentral Station. Passengers departing on flights from KLIA with Malaysia Airlines or Batik Air are required to have a valid KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit ticket to the airport to use the service. The check-in at the facility closes two hours before the scheduled departure time.
