Malaysia Airlines will resume flights on a limited basis to Doha from July 2.

Following Qatar’s reopening of its airspace for foreign carriers and the gradual resumption of flights at Doha’s Hamad International Airport, the Malaysian flag carrier will operate one daily flight – MH160/MH161. The other two flights – MH164/MH165 and MH168/MH169 – remain suspended until October 24 subject to ongoing review.

Previously, Malaysia Airlines suspended its flights to Doha after airspace restrictions were imposed from February 28 following the start of conflict in the Middle East.

The Doha service is once again part of the Malaysia Aviation Group’s (MAG) operations in the Middle East. The airline group’s Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage arm Amal are operating flights to Jeddah and Madinah as scheduled during the Hajj season.
