The fuel surcharge for flights in the Philippines will go down one level from from the current Level 17 to Level 16 during the last half of October.

In advisory published on October 12, the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) announced the fuel surcharge will be set to Level 16 effective October 16-31.

During the effective period, the fuel surcharge for domestic flight bookings will be PHP525 to PHP1535. The fuel surcharge for international flights departing the Philippines will be between PHP1773.76 to PHP12891.29. All surcharges depends on destination and distance.

The applicable exchange rate to USD $1 for the period will go down from PHP62.71 to PHP62.65.

Level 16 is the fifth highest level out of 20 fuel surcharge. The highest fuel surcharge level in 2026 was Level 19 during late April.

The 15-day implementation period is a temporary measure to better respond to the ongoing fuel situation due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, temporarily suspending the application of Section 2 and 3 of Part II. General Provisions, and Timetable under CAB Resolution No. 25 (2022).
