Skymark to lease 7 Boeing 737-10s from Aviation Capital Group

Japan-based Skymark Airlines will take on seven (7) Boeing 737-10 (737 MAX 10) aircraft through lease from Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG).

Announced during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, the first aircraft from this batch of 7 737-10s is scheduled to be delivered to Skymark in 2027 from ACG’s orderbook. The largest and high-capacity variant of the Boeing’s 737 MAX line of aircraft will support Skymark’s fleet expansion and renewal plans, while helping it to sustainably increase capacity on key routes from its home base at Tokyo Haneda Airport.

Skymark’s fleet of 30 aircraft currently comprises mostly of Boeing 737 aircraft, including the older 737-800s and the 737-8s (737 MAX 8). The airline became the first operator of the 737 MAX in Japan with the delivery of its first 737-8 in May.

ACG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation, described as a premier full-service aircraft asset manager. The company has around 500 owned, managed, and committed aircraft as of March 31, 2026, leased to around 90 airlines in 50 countries worldwide.
