Southwest and Air Premia announce new interline partnership

Southwest Airlines has announced a new interline partnership with South Korean hybrid airline Air Premia, opening connections at three gateway airports in Honolulu, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Under the partnership, tickets for interline travel to 120 destinations across Southwest’s network will be available through Air Premia, travel agents, and online booking platforms. Connecting services will be available to destinations not served by Air Premia in the US including Las Vegas, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Portland, and Nashville.

“Similar to Southwest, Air Premia works to pair value and comfort with high-quality service for everyone onboard,” said Andrew Watterson, Southwest Airlines Chief Operating Officer. “Air Premia becomes our latest partner in a portfolio that not only provides more potential global travel options for Southwest Customers, it also exposes more marketplaces overseas to our unmatched network in the United States and our world-famous Hospitality.”

The new partnership will be Southwest’s first with a South Korea-based airline. Combined, Southwest has partnerships with nine global airlines including Icelandair, China Airlines, EVA Air, Philippine Airlines, Condor Airlines, Turkish Airlines, All Nippon Aiways (ANA), and Singapore Airlines.

Air Premia maintains interline partnerships with Korean Air, THAI Airways, and T’way Air.
