Vietnam Airlines will expand its network in India with the addition of a new route to Ahmedabad.
From November 3, Vietnam Airlines will operate four weekly flights (every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) between Hanoi and Ahmedabad. Using Airbus A321 aircraft, the outbound flight will depart Hanoi at 1735H and arrive at 2130H. The return flight will depart Ahmedabad at 2245H before arriving back at Hanoi the following morning at 0435H.
“India is an increasingly important and strategic market for Vietnam Airlines, with strong growth in travel demand, business exchanges and tourism between the two countries,” said Nguyen Trung Hieu, Vietnam Airlines’ Country Manager, India. “The launch of our Ahmedabad–Hanoi service marks another important step in expanding our presence in India and bringing Vietnam closer to more Indian travellers.”
“We are confident that this new service will create greater opportunities for travel and strengthen the connectivity between the two countries. We look forward to working closely with our partners, including Aeroprime, to further develop the India market and deliver greater value to our customers.”
Ahmedabad will be Vietnam Airlines’ fifth destination in India, where the airline currently operates flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
