ZIPAIR Tokyo to launch new route to Kuala Lumpur on October 20

ZIPAIR Tokyo has announced it will launch daily flights between Tokyo Narita and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting October 20.

Using its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, the outbound flight ZG61 will depart Narita at 1650H and arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 2340H. The first return flight ZG62 will depart Kuala Lumpur the following morning (October 21) at 0110H before arriving back at Narita at 0900H.

The addition of Kuala Lumpur will expand its presence in Southeast Asia, where it operates daily flights to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Singapore. Kuala Lumpur will also be ZIPAIR’s 10th destination.

ZIPAIR will be the sixth airline to offer flights between Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, which is currently served by Batik Air, AirAsia X, Malaysia Airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA), and Japan Airlines (JAL). Batik Air, ANA, JAL, and Malaysia Airlines operates flights to/from Narita, while AirAsia X and ANA operate flights to/from Haneda.
