Asiana to close its Business Lounge East at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 from October 1

Asiana Airlines will close the Asiana Business Lounge East at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 from October 1.


In a notice published on September 1, Asiana said following the closure of the Asiana Business Lounge East passengers will be able to use the Central and West Business Lounges at Incheon Terminal 1.


Both located in the airside on the 4th floor after completing immigration at Terminal 1, the Central Lounge is located near Gate 26 and open daily between 0600H and 2200H. The West Lounge is located near Gate 42 and is also open daily between 0600H until 0030H the following morning.


While Asiana’s flights at Incheon have already been shifted to Terminal 2 to align its services with Korean Air following the Korean Air-Asiana merger, the Asiana lounges at Terminal 1 have remained open serving those flying on Star Alliance and select partner airlines. The lounges are open for passengers flying Business Class Star Alliance Gold members, and Priority Pass cardholders. Partner airlines Sichuan Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, Emirates, Etihad, Aurora, Air Astana, Air Macau, and Shandong Airlines.


Customers flying on Asiana-operated flights departing from Terminal 2 can use Korean Air’s five lounges at the terminal including the Prestige East (Left), Prestige East (right), Prestige West, Garden West, and Garden East.


The Asiana brand will be phased out, replaced with the unified Korean Air from December 17.
