Cathay Pacific has closed its lounge at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
Cathay Pacific has closed its lounge at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
In an email reply to Flights in Asia, the Hong Kong-based airline confirmed the closure of Cathay Pacific Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3 on May 31 citing ongoing terminal redevelopment at NAIA.
“As part of the ongoing terminal redevelopment at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), our Cathay Pacific Lounge in Manila will permanently close on 31 May 2026 following the last Cathay Pacific flight departure from NAIA. While we have endeavoured to extend the timeline for the lounge’s closure, regrettably we have been unable to do so.”
The airline further added that eligible customers and Cathay members will be invited to use the First Meridian Lounge on Level 4 at NAIA Terminal 3 when departing from Manila in the future.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate their understanding.”
