Cathay Pacific is pushing back the resumption of its flights to Dubai and Riyadh to late October.
“In view of the latest developments in the Middle East, Cathay has taken the decision to postpone the resumption of its passenger and freighter services to the region.”
Originally scheduled for September 1, Cathay Pacific now plans to resume the daily flights on the Hong Kong-Dubai route to October 25 and the Hong Kong-Riyadh route on October 26.
Separately, the resumption of Cathay Cargo’s freighter service to Riyadh that was originally scheduled for August 1 is also postponed. The airline said Cathay Cargo will review the timing for the resumption of the service.
Customers affected have been advised on their rebooking, rerouting, or refund options.
