Emirates announced it is rolling out its new, next-generation signature lounge concept across key cities around the world this year.
The Dubai, UAE-based airline stated it will invest more than AED 50 million into each lounge. Already revealed in Emirates Lounges in two German cities Munich and Frankfurt, the update is expected to be revealed in three more cities this year: Manchester this month (July), Mauritius in August, and Istanbul in October.
According to Emirates, the new signature lounge design takes inspiration from the aesthetic of Emirates’ latest cabin interiors and the flagship lounges in Dubai. Within the more than 50 design enhancements, the new lounges will feature both private and communal spaces with Italian eco-leather seating, wireless charging and universal power access for each seat. The dining areas will have menus with a variety of international cuisine, live cooking stations, and a new barista bar concept. The lounges will also have dedicated male and female prayer rooms, Quiet Zones, and private meeting spaces.
