Emirates to deploy retrofitted A380, introduce Premium Economy on Dubai-Paris route

Emirates will deploy its retrofitted Airbus A380 aircraft to Paris from October 25, bringing Premium Economy and the Dubai-based airline’s latest cabin products and services to the French capital.

According to Emirates, the retrofitted A380 will be used on the daily Dubai-Paris Charles de Gaulle flights EK071/E072. With the deployment of the A380, Emirates will offer Premium Economy on its flights to its three destinations in France Paris, Lyon, and Nice. The airline noted “a significant percentage” of traffic into France is long-haul, so customers are looking for additional space, comfort, and an elevated experience when traveling for over 10 hours.

Cedric Renard, Emirates’ Country Manager in France said: “France is an important and longstanding market for Emirates, and we’re delighted to now offer our newest cabin experience at all gateways we serve. We’ve seen strong customer response to Premium Economy in both Lyon and Nice, alongside growing demand for Premium Economy across our global network. Expanding the cabin to Paris is a natural next step, giving more customers in France the opportunity to experience the exceptional comfort, world-class service and thoughtful details that distinguish this cabin.”

The retrofitted A380 features 56 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 configuration located in the front of the main deck. Enhancements are also featured in the First, Business, and Economy cabins. The aircraft features the onboard lounge and shower spa.
