Mumbai to be Riyadh Air's first destination in India

Mumbai will be Riyadh Air’s first route to India.

Starting August 4, the new Saudi Arabia-based airline will operate daily flights between Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

RX697 will depart Riyadh at 1405H and will arrive at Mumbai at 2035H. The return flight RX698 will depart Mumbai at 2205H before arriving back at Riyadh at 2350H.

According to Riyadh Air, the Riyadh-Mumbai route will offer onward connectivity to Europe and the Middle East, catering to both business and leisure travelers from India.

With the addition of Mumbai, Riyadh Air’s network will cover 9 destinations. The airline currently operates flights to London (Heathrow), Jeddah, Cairo, and Dubai. Services will also be launched to Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka, Madrid, Malaga, and Manchester during the months of July and August.

The Riyadh-Mumbai route is currently served by Air India, flynas, and IndiGo.
