Sun Phu Quoc Airways is expanding its international network with a new route to Bangkok.
Sun Phu Quoc Airways is expanding its international network with a new route to Bangkok.
The Phu Quoc, Vietnam-based airline under the Sun Group will start the new daily service connecting the southern Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi on August 8.
According to Sun Phu Quoc Airways’ website, the outbound flight 9G701 will depart Phu Quoc for Bangkok at 1035H and arrive at 1155H. The return flight 9G702 will depart Bangkok at 1310H and arrive back at Phu Quoc at 1430H. A320neo aircraft will be used for the new route.
Between Bangkok and Phu Quoc, Thai AirAsia operates flights to the island from Suvarnabhumi. Thai AirAsia operates its flights from Don Mueang Airport.
Bangkok will be Sun Phu Quoc Airways’ fourth international destination after Macau, Taipei Taoyuan, and Seoul Incheon.
