Garuda Indonesia adjusts Jakarta-Amsterdam flight schedule

Garuda Indonesia will be adjusting the flight schedule for its non-stop services between Jakarta and Amsterdam during the late summer and fall.


Between July 23 and October 24, the Indonesian national airline will be adjusting the current outbound departure from Jakarta to Amsterdam which departs every Thursday (return on Saturday) of the thrice-weekly flights on the route (GA88/GA87).


Currently departing every Thursday at 2200H, the outbound Jakarta-Amsterdam flight GA88 will be shifted to depart on Saturday at 0050H. The flight will arrive at Amsterdam at 1040H. The return flight GA89 will be shifted by 30 minutes from the current schedule of 1205H to 1235H every Saturday. Its arrival will be the following day at 0825H.


In a notice announcing the change, Garuda Indonesia stated: “We have now been able to optimize our departure and arrival times, with both arrival and departure taking place on Saturday.”


The airline stated it is a positive change to start to further optimize the route, both in the short term and with a view towards a more stable and expanded operation in the future.
