Korean Air to return to Oita, Japan with a seasonal winter service

Korean Air is expanding its services to Japan further with a seasonal winter service to Oita.


Between October 25 and March 26, 2027, Korean Air will operate four weekly flights between Incheon and Oita (every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Using Airbus A321neo aircraft, the outbound flight will depart at 0915H and arrive at Oita at 1050H. The return flight will depart Oita at 1200H before arriving back at Incheon at 1345H.


The resumption of Korean Air’s services to Oita will complete the airline’s five-destination across the southern Japanese island of Kyushu where operates flights to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima.


“The return of our Oita service gives passengers the freedom to plan highly customized itineraries across the Kyushu region. We are focused on expanding our network with routes that make a difference in how our customers travel.”


Korean Air currently operates flights to around 20 cities in Japan. The airline will also return to Hiroshima with daily flights starting December 23.
