Philippine Airlines is shifting the resumption of flights on the Manila-Saipan route to June 21.
Previously scheduled to resume on June 18, the shift to June 21 follows the resumption of night operations at Saipan International Airport on June 20.
Philippine Airlines previously suspended flights to Saipan after the island’s airport sustained damage due to the Typhoon Sinlaku in late April. The airline previously launched the Manila-Saipan flights on March 29 after an absence of 9 years.
The twice-weekly flights will operate every Wednesday and Sunday (Monday and Thursday for the return). The outbound flight 2P2571 (PAL Express) will depart Manila at 1945H and arrive at Saipan the following morning at 0145H. The return flight 2P2572 will depart at 0250H on June 22 and arrive back at Manila at 0505H.
Since the suspension of the Manila-Saipan route, Philippine Airlines gave affected customers the option to rebook their flights or get refunds and/or travel credits. The airline has also given the option to reroute customers through Guam.
