Air India opened its newest signature lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) called the “The Maharaja Lounge” on May 23.


Located near Gate A1 at SFO’s International Terminal, the newly opened Maharaja Lounge covers an area of over 3,300 sq. ft. with a capacity for 80 guests. Mirroring the design of the recently launched flagship Maharaja Lounge in Delhi, it is the second in a series of signature lounges that Air India will open. Air India’s First and Business Class passengers, and Platinum and Gold members of the Maharaja Club will be able to access the lounge. First Class passengers will also have access to a dedicated zone while inside.

With views of the tarmac, the lounge will feature a dining area with a variety of Indian and international culinary delicacies. The Aviator’s Bar will offer a “well-curated cellar” of hand-picked wines and whiskies. Those seeking privacy and comfort will also be able to relax in the Private Zone.

Air India currently operates daily flights between Delhi and San Francisco.
