Riyadh Air will launch its first route to Southeast Asia with the addition of Kuala Lumpur to its network by the end of July.


From July 30, the new Saudi Arabia-based airline will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday/ return flights on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday) between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur.


According to Riyadh Air’s website, the outbound flight RX863 will depart Riyadh at 2250H and arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 1150H the following day. The return flight RX864 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 1645H before arriving back at Riyadh at 1945H.


Since the launch of its regularly scheduled passenger flights, Riyadh Air’s network now includes four routes from its hub at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport: Dubai, Jeddah, Cairo, and London Heathrow.
